Trinity Church is a community of about 100 registered members, with about 45 in attendance each Sunday.
Trinity is a friendly place with a mix of long-term attendees and relative newcomers. We make up a variety of age
groups and come from many different walks of life. Some of us are life-long Episcopalians, many of us are new to the
denomination, but all of us worship and work together to serve Jesus Christ. The parish honors its Episcopal tradition. It
traces its beginnings from the Church of England while remaining open to the movement of and growth in the Holy Spirit.
We welcome all who seek to know God in Jesus Christ and all seeking a community in which to worship, serve and grow in faith.
AN OPEN COMMUNITY
Trinity functions at the will of the Spirit in the hands of its congregation. Our Vestry, or governing board, is made up of 12 men and women elected from the
congregation at our Annual Parish Meeting, which is open to all members. Vestry meetings are held monthly, and anyone interested is welcome to attend. The Vestry and the Rector
(our priest) are responsive to the needs of the congregation.
The Vestry manages our finances and budget. All budget figures are available to the congregation. Our annual budget is $170,000. The main source of income for the church is money
pledged and given by its members. The people of the parish are encouraged to participate in all aspects of parish life in whatever ministry best suits their gifts and situation.
Trinity is part of the broader church community as a participant in ecumenical events and as part of the Episcopal Diocese of Easton.
