TRINITY WORLD MISSIONS

Mission Statement:
To help those in need outside our community from our relative abundance of treasure, occasional commitment of time
and continual contribution of prayer. Align our efforts with likeminded ones already successful in the Episcopal Church.

Episcopal Relief and Development Sunday is a special opportunity to live out the promises made in our Baptismal Covenant, by demonstrating our commitment to care for people who are hungry, sick, or living in extreme poverty. Once again this year Trinity, along with the entire Episcopal Church, celebrated Episcopal Relief and Development Sunday on the first Sunday of Lent. We collected over $500 to support the Episcopal Church's mission to heal a hurting world. Thank you for your contribution!

It's not too early to begin saving for next year. Put your Hope Chest back to work at home with the whole family. If you don't have one, pick one up in the back of the church. Whenever you have some spare change, or are particularly thankful for something, put some money in your Hope Chest towards support for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are far less fortunate than we are.

As individuals we can make a difference.

Thanks again for loving your "neighbors" in this meaningful way.

"Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me" Matthew 25:40

Your friends in Christ,
Rich and Wendy Gilbert
Coordinators, Trinity World Missions

Note:
A special thank you to Rick and Wendy Gilbert for this meaningful statement and their devoted service as coordinators of 'The World Missions Program' while at Trinity Church.
